How will I know if my application has been received?

Applicants using the online application system will receive a confirmation that your information was successfully submitted once you apply. You will also receive an email notification when your application has been received. If an email is not received, the application was not transmitted properly and should be resubmitted.

I feel I meet all of the qualifications of the position for which I applied to but have not been contacted for an interview. Please explain why I have not been selected.

Due to the large volume of applicants received for open positions, not every qualified candidate is contacted for an interview. Candidates whose experience, education and skills/credentials are best matched for an open position will be contacted for an interview.

I want to check on the status of my application, how do I do that?

We receive very high volume of applications for our openings. Due to this high volume, we do not give update status.

I currently work for Ingalls, how do I apply?

Please access the internal job posting site through Ingalls Intranet. Please apply using this process.
